Cong. Nisay advocates for small business growth

Pusong Pinoy Partylist Congressman Jett Nisay on Tuesday participated in the Committee on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development meeting to discuss the third deliberation on amendments to the Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE) Act.

This law provides critical support to small businesses through access to loans, tax exemptions, and training programs. Congressman Nisay emphasized the ongoing commitment to support the growth and development of small enterprises in the Philippines. “Our continued support is crucial for the advancement of our fellow citizens who run small businesses,” he stated.

The amendments being discussed aim to enhance the current provisions of the BMBE Act, making it easier for small businesses to thrive in a competitive market. These changes are expected to provide additional financial relief and better training opportunities for small entrepreneurs.

Last month, Cong. Jett Nisay also recognized the contributions of MSME trainers in the Province of Bataan. He highlighted their role in uplifting the business sector and aiding aspiring entrepreneurs in the province. “Our MSME trainers play a vital role in boosting local businesses and helping new ones get off the ground,” Nisay added.

As the deliberations continue, the proposed amendments to the BMBE Act are anticipated to bring significant benefits to the small business community, fostering economic growth and stability in local communities across the Philippines.
